Privacy Policy (English)

Mehirim BaShetah (“מהירים בשטח”) is an off-road (4X4) community website that publishes trip routes, maps, photos and videos. It is a static informational site.

Website visitors. The site has no user accounts, sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may keep standard technical access logs, such as IP address and time of request, for security and operations under its own privacy policy. Some pages load third-party content: map tiles from OpenStreetMap, fonts from Google Fonts, and embedded videos from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com). Those services process requests under their own privacy policies.

Trip registration. Trip sign-up is done through Google Forms. That information is stored by Google and used only by the trip organizers to run the trip. It is shared only with parties needed to carry out the trip, such as border crossings or suppliers for trips abroad.

Use of YouTube API Services. The site owner uses a private, single-user tool that uploads our own trip videos to the Mehirim BaShetah YouTube channel and links them on route pages, via YouTube API Services.

• It accesses only the owner’s own channel: uploading videos and reading the channel’s video list.
• It does not collect, store or share any data about website visitors or other YouTube users.
• Use of this tool is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
• Access can be revoked at any time at Google Account permissions or the Google security settings page.
• What is stored and where. The OAuth token is stored only on the site owner’s computer in a protected file, never on the website. The tool keeps only a list of the videos it uploaded to our own channel (video ID and title) so the same video is not uploaded twice. No data about other users is stored.
• Deletion. You can request deletion of any such data by email (below). When access is revoked, the token stops working and is deleted from the owner’s computer.
